Apr 10, 2018EberspacherFeb. 22, 1924 – March 29, 2018James Walden Eberspacher was born Feb. 22, 1924, on a farm east of the Salem Church in Seward County to G.F. and Anna (Lucke) Eberspacher, the youngest of 12 children. He passed away March 29, 2018, at Crestview Care Center in Milford at the age of 94. Church was always a part of his life, and he accepted the Lord at an early age. Jim attended rural schools in Seward County and graduated from Milford High School in 1941.On Dec. 27, 1945, Jim was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart, Reva J. Matzke. The couple lived on a farm northwest of Milford, where they farmed together and raised their three children, Sharon Elaine, Gerald James and Beverly Jane. Lori Ann Eberspacher also shared in their love, home and family from shortly after birth until she was 5 years old. After “retiring” from farming, Jim worked at various jobs where he could use his electrical skills and his love of carpentry. Jim enjoyed visiting and meeting new people and attending Nebraska girls' basketball games with his wife. The products of Jim’s hobby, woodworking, were shared with others far and wide.Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Reva in 2002; five brothers; six sisters; and a son-in-law, Pete Farrar.He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Sharon Farrar of Brighton, Colorado, and Beverly and Jim Michal of Flagler, Colorado; and a son and daughter-in-law, Gerald “Gary” and Debbie Eberspacher of Milford; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 6, 2018, at Lauber-Moore Funeral Home in Milford, with the family greeting friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, at Bellwood Mennonite Church in Milford, with the Rev.
